The Lipa Festival of Contemporary Music will feature experimental concert music, audio-visual music, and improvisation combining acoustic performance with computer-generated sounds. These genre of experimental music combine concepts and methods from computer science, mathematics, traditional musical composition/performance, and digital animation. Music Faculty will join guest artists Scott L. Miller and Pat O’Keefe of the Willful Devices ensemble, along with Big XII faculty fellowship guest artist David Taddie (University of West Virginia).
