You are invited to attend the 3rd annual [Iowa Women’s and Gender Studies student conference “Transforming Gender and Society”]( on Sat., April 7th, 2018 at Iowa State University. Graduate and undergraduate students are welcome to present papers, creative works, or panels. The Call for Proposals is [open]( Deadline for submission: March 20, 2018. This is a great opportunity to interact with many like-minded individuals from around the state.

In honor of the 40th anniversary of the WGS program at ISU, the registration fee has been waived. Plus breakfast, lunch, and additional snacks are all provided (including allergy-free and vegan options). Iowa State University’s first female President, Dr. Wendy Wintersteen will welcome participants at the morning reception. There will also be a panel of former Iowa State WGS directors who will share their stories from the past and visions of the future for Women’s and Gender Studies.
