The 1917 Riot in East St. Louis That Started the Civil Rights Movement: A Lecture Concert in Jazz

The ISU Jazz Ensemble, with guest orator Hollis Monroe, present a unique, powerful and informative cultural concert designed to both entertain and educate. The concert combines live jazz, spoken remarks, and visual presentations to bring focus upon the events that led to the Civil Rights Movement.
