Jack Trice Sculpture Reception

The Office of the President and student government will be holding a reception to recognize the return of the Jack Trice Sculpture to central campus. All are welcome to attend.
The sculpture, commissioned by student government in 1987, was located between Beardshear and Carver Hall from 1988 to 1997. It was moved from its Jack Trice Stadium location in 2019 to accommodate construction work. The sculpture features Trice looking at a letter of his thoughts written the night before the Minnesota game in which he sustained a fatal injury.
