ISU-based Flyway Books will launch its inaugural imprint, “A Moo Cow Came Traveling,” a magical illustrated children’s book about a intergalactic traveling cow on a bicycle who lands in an Irish village.
A celebration of the publication will be held at the Ames Public Library on Sunday, November 7 from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public.
Festivities will include Irish storytelling and music, a short Q & A with Irish writer, Mark Mulholland, Moo-Cow inspired treats, a balloon artist, and other activities and gifts for kids.
“A Moo Cow Came Traveling” was written by Irish writer Mark Mulholland and illustrated by Ames area artist Dorthia Rohner.
