Dr. Medepalli received his PhD in Mathematics from our department in 1992, and has gone on to a very successful career in industry.  He is excited to talk to students about career opportunities outside of academia, and so we will have a forum for him to talk about his experiences after graduation and answer questions from the audience.  This will be during the normal CAM seminar time.

Bio:   Anand has over 25 years of experience as a trusted advisor with leading companies in product strategies, commercial account strategies and asset planning decisions in transportation, supply chain and financial services, and has spent much of his career advising companies and defining innovative solutions to drive their growth. He leveraged his deep skills at the intersection of product strategy, AI/ML, and supply chain management at Shippeo, where as the Chief Product Officer, he is responsible for the company’s product strategy to serve the supply chain visibility marketplace with innovative solutions. He is part of the Shippeo executive leadership team.

Prior to Shippeo, Anand was Head of AI Products at ServiceNow, a company that acquired Element AI, where he was Head of Products. Prior to that Anand was the Chief Product Officer at RateGain, a big data company serving the Travel industry. Prior to RateGain, Anand worked for several years at Blue Yonder, where he was the VP of Retail Planning products.
