The Communication Studies Program is hosting a special lecture by alumnus Shane Jacobson. Shane will receive our inaugural Distinguished Alumnus Award this fall for his work as CEO of the V Foundation for Cancer Research. Shane will talk about this important work finding donors and funding research seeking cures for cancer in his presentation Journey to the Future: How an ISU Alum Leads Investment in Game-Changing Cancer Research. This free lecture is open to the public. The lecture will be delivered in Room 2630 of the Memorial Union at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30. ISU Athletics and the ISU Committee on Lectures are our cosponsors of this lecture.
