LAS Advising Discoveries Fair

The LAS Advising Discoveries Fair is an invitation-only event for advisors across campus to explore the wide range of LAS second majors, minors, or certificates that add value to students’ primary degrees. For more information email LAS@iastate.edu.

Discover ways your students can expand the power of their degree! With a diverse range of majors, minors and certificates, LAS offers programs that enhance students’ skills and knowledge for specific industries, careers, or cultures.

We are proud to offer courses and programs that help students learn how to assess facts and information from different sources, and to have civil and thoughtful conversations from varying perspectives and opinions. We link science with communication, reasoning, expression, and creativity. We bridge data and technology with storytelling and human behavior. We bring languages and cultures from around the globe to our communities right here in Ames, Iowa.
