LAS Women Research Faculty Workshop

Author: Stacey Maifeld | Image: Stacey Maifeld

LAS women research faculty are invited to a workshop on Friday, Sept.16, 2016, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., with lunch served after the workshop. The facilitator, Dr. Joy Gaston Gayles, is associate professor of higher education at North Carolina State University, where she specializes in diversity and equity issues.

Registration for the workshop is on the website of the National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity.

In preparation for the workshop, we would like to hear from our fellow female research faculty about the issues you think should be discussed. These may range from personal challenges to institutional problems to things you think are going particularly well that should be celebrated. Even if you are unable to attend the workshop, we would still love to hear your opinions. Begin the survey here.

This questionnaire is anonymous, and we are committed to protecting the privacy of our colleagues who respond to this survey. If you have any concerns, please feel free to contact us: Dr. Tracy Lucht (Greenlee School, tlucht@iastate.edu) or Dr. Amy Erica Smith (Political Science, aesmith2@iastate.edu).
