News Engagement Day is a program of the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication that encourages everyone to “read, watch, like, tweet, post, listen to, or comment on news, and learn news reporting principles.” It happens on the first Tuesday of October.
The Greenlee School of Journalism and Communication will celebrate #NewsEngagementDay by focusing on global journalism and the importance of news worldwide.
Help us show how much the news means to the Iowa State Community. For information, contact Julie Roosa, Greenlee First Amendment Committee chair.
